Lamp turns on automatically when shade is opened and turns off automatically when closed. Only 10-1/2" tall when closed, and has weighted base for stability. Uses a special energy saving, long-life, fluorescent lamp which runs at 13 watts (75 watt incandescent equivalent). Furnished with fluorescent lamp. 110 volts.
