Matt Carving Wax Blocks (172-762) Soft Blue
Our best quality carving waxes. A special modeling wax used to make jewelry, sculptures, and other parts. Each cake is smooth and porosity-free. Can be carved, sawed, filed, machined, or turned on a lathe, and it can be melted to build up shapes through layering. Available in three grades.
- Green The hardest and most popular. Responds beautifully to filing and delicate engraving.
- Purple Medium flexibility. Recommended for models with extensive piercing, baguettes, and air line openings.
- Blue The most flexible. Useful for models with extensive piercing of thin and exposed sections.
Each block measures 3 1/2" x 7" x 1 5/8". Well-suited for large models such as belt buckles and carved figures.
