Burnout Ovens

Paragon SC-Series Kilns fire Art Clay Silver, Metal Clay, PMC, decals, china paint, enamels, and glass at temperatures up to 2000°F in only minutes. A digital, programmable temperature control provides automatic firing at the rate and temperature you enter through the keypad. The brightly lit digital display prompts for firing rate, temperature and hold time. Use the hold feature to fire your Silver Clay pieces for the recommended time.

The ceramic fiber firing chamber is wrapped in a steel inner case, with a chamber of air between the inner case and the outer case. This design keeps the outer case cool to the touch. The case is also slotted to allow air circulation. Electrical components, located in the base, stay cool even at extended hold times. Includes a 1/4" thick ceramic fiber shelf. Made in USA.

To protect the floor of your burnout oven/furnace during wax elimination, use these heavy trays. The tray supports your casting flasks and provides adequate space for the wax to run out during burn out. Eliminates the need for a hearth plate.

The furnace grate and tray simplifies the burnout procedure of lost wax casting. It is no longer necessary to remove flasks and tray, then replace flasks to avoid carbon build-upon heating elements (a primary cause of element failure). Now you merely slide the stainless steel tray from beneath the grate at the end of the wax elimination cycle and proceed with burnout. This not only protects heating elements in electric furnaces, but also protects the floor of a furnace, eliminating the need for a hearth plate. The grate is cast iron for strong support and long life.

These ovens feature brick chambers with heating elements secured in grooves inside the heating chambers to facilitate replacement. Built-in electronic temperature controllers feature push-button programming and allow up to 6 segments, or ramps, to be pre-set. Each ramp consists of: rate of heating or cooling, temperature setting in° F or° C, and hold time for that temperature. Also, a delayed start can be entered. The furnace will then run that program and hold it in memory until another program is set. Supplied with 3 permanent programs as well as complete programming capability. These furnaces are available in three sizes, all have durable, stainless steel exteriors. Maximum temperature 1700° F. Made in USA.
