Burs
Round Burs Vanadium Steel
The Basics Round Burs are useful for de-burring or enlarging holes, carving recesses for sweat soldering, and refining stone settings. Because of their shape they can be used at any angle. Vanadium Steel burs are economically priced. They cut precisely when new, but don't retain their sharpness as long as other steel alloys. They're used at low speeds. 3/32" dia. shanks are the jeweler's preferred standard for burs and small rotary tools. They fit the adjustable chucks found on most flexshaft handpieces as well as 3/32" handpiece collets. email this page
PKR110.0090° Hart Burs
Hart (Bearing Cutter) Burs are used to cut seats in prongs, flush settings, & channels. They are available with 45°, 70° or 90° cutting angles. They can also be used for bright cutting. PKR330.00Cup Burs
Cup Burs have cutting flutes on the inside of their cup-shaped heads for rounding wire ends and refining prong tips and rivet heads. Because they tends to clog easily, they should always be used with lubrication. Vanadium Steel burs are economically priced. PKR330.00Cross-Cut Cone Square Burs
Cone Burs have tapered sides that come to a point at their tip. They're used for enlarging and deburring holes and for repositioningflush settings before refining the seat. Also available with round or flat ends. Cros-Cut Burs feature slotted cutting edges. The slots prevent clogging, reduce friction and chatter, and improve cutting efficiency. PKR330.00Bud Burs
Bud/Flame Burs have a gently curved taper that comes to a point. Similar to a cone bur, they are useful for tapering, enlarging holes, or repositioning holes, and for a variety of stone setting tasks. Vanadium Steel burs are economically priced. They cut precisely when new, but don't retain their sharpness as long as other steel alloys. PKR350.00Wheel Burs
Wheel Burs are cylindrical in shape with cutting edges along the outside and sometimes on the top surface as well. They are often used to remove material from stone bezels that are too thick. Vanadium Steel burs are economically priced. They cut precisely when new, but don't retain their sharpness as long as other steel alloys. PKR330.00Krause Burs
Krause Burs have a very narrow profile, making them perfect for getting into tight spaces. Use them to remove excess solder, enlarge holes and adjust hinge knuckles and clasps. PKR330.003-in-1 Cup Bur Twincut Concave Cutter
It's called a 3-in-1 cup bur because it shortens, rounds, and polishes in one easy step. Twincut geometry features Dual Chip Channels that permit a more rapid removal of excess material. There's no need for multiple passes to allow for chip removal because of the Chip Channels. And as the bur rounds the article being worked, it polishes at the same time. Thinner cup walls make it easier to work on tightly spaced prongs. Made in Germany. 3/32" shanks.
